We are delighted to support Chestnut Tree House, which is the only children's hospice
in Sussex and cares for children and young adults from 0 to 19 years of
age with progressive life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses from all over
the county.
Welcome Vero Giving
We understand that the regulation, legislation and laws surrounding background &
criminal record checks can be bewildering. Often, smaller charities and voluntary
organisations have to make sacrifices elsewhere in their budgets to allow for the
cost of these essential background checks, especially if the charity is involved
with young children or vulnerable groups. In turn, this deflects much needed funds
away from where they could be put to better use – helping those that the charity
is there for.
In response to this, Vero have established VeroGiving. VeroGiving is a specific
area within our business which is there to help provide support, assistance and
advice to charities on this area. We are also able to consider applications for
reduced price, or in some cases completely free, background screening for new people
joining charities. We hope this will allow charities to continue to screen people
effectively, without it impacting their budgets.
Get Involved
The entire team at Vero is passionate about supporting charity and really giving
something back to our community. We actively encourage our people to take part in
charitable events, and have adopted a fantastic, Sussex based charity to support.
