Rupert Emson Managing Director
Before co-founding Vero, Rupert was Head of Business Development at Kroll
Background Screening where he was responsible for growing European sales. Prior
to this, Rupert was Chief Operations Officer of PeopleRisk, the first screening
company in the UK to develop web applications to enhance the traditional screening
process. Rupert started his career in this sector in 1997 working as a Research
Analyst for Network International. Following its acquisition by Control Risks Group,
he established and managed the company's Edinburgh based employee screening operation.

Steve Woodrough Technology Director
Prior to co-founding Vero, Steve worked as Head of Systems Development
at Kroll Background Screening, responsible for the architecture, development and
maintenance of the company's existing employee screening system. Formerly a founding
member of FluidHR, a technology company dedicated to developing systems for Human
Resources professionals Steve's software is highly customer friendly, and built
to integrate with HR management systems. Steve started his career working as a systems
developer in the telecoms industry, Orange & Logica Mobile Networks.

Rebecca Hickmott Operations Director
Having worked in Procurement (ICL) and Recruitment (Blue Arrow), Rebecca spent more
than 6 years as a Researcher, Account Manager and Senior Team Leader with leading
screening company, Financial & Personnel Research (FPR). Rebecca's time with
FPR included periods working in an HR environment for a FTSE 100 client where she
trained staff and contributed to process refinements in their screening and recruitment
systems. From 2004 to early 2006, Rebecca managed aspects of the company's integration
with Kroll and subsequently became Head of Client Relations with ultimate responsibility
for the welfare of clients internationally.

Stuart Marshall Chairman
Stuart is the Managing Director of Litmus Advisory a leading independent debt advisory
firm. Before establishing Litmus Advisory, Stuart was a director of Postern Executive
Group, a turnaround and interim management consultancy where he took executive responsibility
for a number of corporate restructuring and re-financing projects. Stuart qualified
as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand and spent 11 years in corporate
finance in London and Paris, latterly as a Director at SG Hambros.

Henry Meakin Non Executive Director
Henry was a founder of two companies which listed on the London Stock Exchange,
both of which he chaired for many years; Aspen Group plc, a media and communications
group including the world's largest airline in-flight entertainment and advertising
company, other specialist media operations and magazine publishing; GWR Group plc
which grew to be the largest commercial radio group in the UK. In 1992 he was deeply
involved in the creation and successful launch of Classic FM as Chairman and a director
until 2007. Henry is also a director or chairman of a number of early stage companies
in the media and entertainment sectors.

Patrick Diggines Non Executive Director
Patrick was Chairman and CEO of Alexander Mann Solutions, the fastest growing company
in the recruitment process outsourcing market, until early 2006. Prior to this he
was Deputy Chief Executive of Credit Agricole Indosuez (CAI) UK (now CALYON). During
his banking career he was a director of HR as well as Chief Operations Officer and
latterly headed a large structured finance business for CAI. Patrick has a wealth
of experience in service industries where people are the main assets and is often
asked to present on the whole recruitment and selection process.

Richard Evans Non Executive Director
Richard left the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1984 then founded ‘The Watch Security',
a manned guarding company which grew to become the leading independent security
company in the Midlands. In 2002 the company created its own “Watch Systems” Division
and by 2005 the combined guarding and technology company employed some 800 people.
In 2005 “The Watch” was acquired by MITIE, a FTSE 250 services provider whereupon
Richard was appointed President of MITIE Security, now the second largest provider
of security services in the UK. Richard is an elected member of the British Security
Industry Association Council.

Amy Pain Research Manager
Amy has worked within the UK Background Screening sector since early 2004, initially
as a Background Screening Analyst before being promoted into a Customer Relations
role and then a senior Account Management role for several global financial services
firms. Amy was invited onsite by one of her customers to work within the HR department
for some 14 months specifically to manage their screening program and out-sourced
provider. Amy's unique experience of seeing 'both sides of the fence' has been invaluable
to Vero and having joined us in mid 2008 she now takes responsibility
for our customer welfare and supervises Researcher and 'Publisher' teams.
